Live video call rooms inside Community Events
Host live video sessions directly inside ACEIRT™ Fusion Community Events using built-in live rooms or external tools like Zoom or Google Meet.
What is new
Run live video sessions directly inside your ACEIRT™ Fusion Community Events using built-in live rooms, without sending people out to a separate meeting link.
Live rooms give you smarter event location options: start a session inside the Community Event itself or link out to external tools like Zoom or Google Meet when that fits better.
Live video call rooms add a dedicated live session space to each Community Event so you can meet with attendees in context.
- Host and run live sessions directly from the Community Event with a built-in live room.
- Keep people inside your community instead of bouncing between separate meeting tools.
- Still use external options like Zoom or Google Meet when you prefer them.
This update focuses on giving you flexible, event-specific locations for going live with your community.
How it works
Live rooms attach to the Community Event, so the join experience stays simple for both hosts and attendees.
When you open an event, ACEIRT™ Fusion shows a live room link for that event. Click the link, join the session, and you are live in-session inside the Community Event. You stay within the same community space while you run the call.
For events where you would rather use an external tool, you can still set up Zoom or Google Meet. The feature is about having smarter choices for where the live part of the event happens, not forcing one approach.
How to use it
Use these steps when you want to run a live session from a Community Event using the built-in live room.
Open your Community Event
- Go to the Community Event where you plan to host the live session.
- Confirm event details such as title, date, and description so attendees know what to expect.
Locate the live room link
- Look for the live room link that ACEIRT™ Fusion associates with the event.
- Use this link as the primary place you and your attendees will join for the live session.
Join the live room
- Click the live room link from the event.
- Join the session; once connected, you are live inside the Community Event space rather than in a separate meeting app.
Run your session
- Interact with attendees from within the live room as you would in a typical video meeting.
- Expect a similar experience to tools like Zoom or Google Meet, while staying in the ACEIRT™ Fusion community context.
Use external tools when needed
- If a particular event needs Zoom or Google Meet instead, continue using those tools.
- Treat the live room option as an additional, smarter event location you can choose per event.
Mobile support
Run and join live rooms from mobile so attendees can participate even when they are away from a desktop.
The same live room link associated with your Community Event works on mobile devices. Open the event from your phone, tap the live room link, and join the session from there.
Notes and best practices
Use these short guidelines to make the most of live rooms inside Community Events:
- Choose the right location per event. Use the built-in live room when you want everyone to stay inside ACEIRT™ Fusion; pick Zoom or Google Meet for events that rely on your existing meeting setup.
- Communicate where to join. In your event description, clarify whether attendees should expect to join via the live room link or an external meeting link.
- Test before going live. Open the Community Event and join the live room link a few minutes early to confirm everything connects as expected.
