Blog Post AI is a writing assistant built into the blog post editor. Built on Ask AI, it helps you research, draft, style, and translate complete SEO-friendly posts with images in minutes, without copy-pasting from external tools.
Open Blog Post AI in your blog editor
Use Blog Post AI from the same place you already create blog posts.
Open your blog post editor
- Go to Sites in your account.
- Select Blogs.
- Click Create a blog post to open the blog editor.
You should now see the option to create the post with AI in the editor.
Start a post with Create with AI
- In the blog editor, click Create with AI.
- Blog Post AI opens on the side of your editor so you can generate content directly into the post.
You now have access to Assist mode and Build mode to shape your article.
Choose Assist or Build mode
Use modes depending on how much direction you want to give the AI.
Assist mode starts from a topic and guides you through a structured flow.
- Enter a topic or idea for your blog post, such as a news theme or niche subject.
- Add keywords you want the article to focus on for better search visibility.
- Let Blog Post AI generate a complete draft, including structure and SEO-focused content.
This mode is helpful when you know the subject but want the AI to drive most of the outline and writing.
Build mode gives you a free prompt box to fully direct the AI.
- Type a free-form prompt describing what you want, including tone, audience, and angle.
- Include specific instructions, such as writing from a certain section of research or focusing on a particular viewpoint.
- Use this when you want tighter control over how the article is framed.
This mode is ideal for more custom or creative posts where you want to define the details.
Research and draft your article
- Use Blog Post AI to research a topic, such as browsing the latest news, and identify a specific section or angle you want to cover.
- Ask it to write the post based on that section, so the article is anchored in the research you selected.
- Let it generate a full article draft, organized and optimized for SEO.
You should now see a complete draft in your editor that you can refine.
Generate and refine images
- Ask Blog Post AI to generate images or visuals that match your article.
- Insert the generated image into the post where it fits best.
- If the first image is not a good fit, request a different image until it matches your content and style.
Your post now includes visuals created alongside the copy, without leaving the editor.
Polish content, style, and SEO
- Highlight any section of the article and ask Blog Post AI to improve, shorten, expand, or rephrase it.
- Request changes to titles, fonts, colors, or color palettes to align with your brand style.
- Use the assistant to optimize for SEO, keeping your keywords and structure in mind.
Your blog post should now look and read the way you want, ready for final review.
Translate the full article
- Once the article is ready, ask Blog Post AI to translate the entire post into another language.
- The demo shows translating the full article into Hindi as an example.
- Review the translated version inside the editor before publishing.
You now have localized versions of your content without leaving the blog editor.
